Craig, is the founder and owner of Simpson Nonprofit Solutions (SNS), an outsourced accounting firm serving nonprofits for the last 5 years.  Craig Simpson has over 17 years of experience serving nonprofit organizations in the roles of board member, outsourced Chief Financial Officer (CFO), director of finance, external auditor, internal auditor and consultant. SNS was birthed out of years of experience working with nonprofit organizations as an auditor.  While serving these organizations, he noticed that many organizations needed the expertise of a CFO or an experienced accountant but didn’t have the resources to have someone with that level of experience on staff. 

 

At SNS Craig leads a team of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and accountants providing outsourced services including CFO, controller, bookkeeping, audit prep, consulting and software conversions. SNS’s clients have included mega and mid-size churches, missions, media, Christian schools, recovery organizations, para-churches, outreach organizations, financial ministries and an orphanage. 

 

Craig previously served a nonprofit organization for eleven years as a senior auditor for Capin Crouse. During his tenure Craig was blessed to serve various nonprofit organizations including colleges and universities, churches, foundations, international mission organizations, relief and development organizations, and government agencies. Craig received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in accounting from Morehouse College
